Help with Hayward swim pro voyager
This is the second season with my above ground pool. Just opened it on Sunday. I have the Hayward SwimPro Voyager. I’ve been hearing a sucking noise which makes me think I need to release the orange valve on the Hayward SwimPro and then water shoots out of the small orange valve on top. I wish I understood this part of my pool better. How often do I release (loosen) that orange valve? I feel like my pressure gauge never changes past like 5psi as well.

The orange part is an air bleed, to allow trapped air out of the filter. When water shoots out your done.
Air sucking in however could be a not air tight connection on your plumbing from the pool to the top of the pump outlet.
