That's unusual, most want to warm it. Cover it during the hot day and off during the cooler night
The cheapest way is to aerate it, however you would need to keep an eye on your pH as it will increase

I suspect it must be by the sun as the easiest way to cool would be to stop heating it

I have a heat mat on my pool and its now 34 degrees, Im guessing by your comment heat affects the PH
how hot is too hot.

It's not the heat affecting the pH it's the aeration
