Pool remodel and spa addition

Hello,

We have an large, old pool that we are going to have re-modeled and also add a spa. Here are the pool specs:
It is approximately 14' x 42'. The water depth in the pool is 2'-9" at the shallow end, to 9' at the
deep end. The water volume is approximately 30,800 gallons.
I was thinking of putting the spa in across the width of the pool in the deep end. But, it will be very long. I don't know how else to incorporate it without making it look like an add on. The other option would be to put it in the shallow end although I don't want to take up too much space as my kids love to play int he shallow end. If I can figure out how to attach a pic I will do that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
