Equipment Froze in Texas. Now pump not pumping enough.

After everything thawed I was able to find a cracked Jandy Valve and replaced it. I ran water into the strainer pot for a few minutes to get some water back in the suction lines. When I turned the pump on it took much longer than usual to star drawing water. It never did fully gain circulation. Everthing is tight and appears solid on the suction side. When I turned the pump off it slowly winds down instead of stopping almost instantly like it usually does. Any ideas what to do next would be appreciated.

If can try turning a valve to waste after the pump. Run to waste a few minutes and see if the pump acts differently. Let us know please?
