stains

Our pool water is clear as ice, but we recently have gotten dark stains on the bottom of liner. Seems to be splotchy and not in any specific area. Any ideas to remove? Have tried to use soft brush and no luck. Is there anything we can put in the pool to break up the stains or make them easier to use brush to remove?

Try Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) if it disappears it's a metal stain
