Hello all
i was trying to work out a schedule for me for weekly pool cleaning.
we just moved to the tropics and i am struggling to keep it clear and nice
we use/have:
chlorine blocks and powder
super blue to clear it up
algaecide fluid
brush
vacuum
net
....
since i have such trouble i was wondering if i could make a schedule for a 20.000gallon pool
eg:
(2 chlorine blocks are always in skimmer- pump runs 3 hours/day (1 hour every 10 degrees - 30°c here)
Monday: testing and vacuuming
Tuesday: put Super blu clear fluid in it (run pump like 8 hours)
Wednesday: vacuuming - backwash and rinse
Thursday: nothing
Friday vacuuming
Saturday: nothing
Sunday: vacuuming - backwash and rinsing
Then when to put the algaecide in?
Is this schedule a bit correct or totally wrong?
what would you suggest?
Thx in advance
Roger

Pool cleaning schedule
If you have decided on a weekly swimming pool maintenance, then it’s great . A weekly maintenance is the best way to ward off any dirt in the pool. My Aunt just recently installed a pool at her house and she has hired the swimming pool maintenance services by Ferrari Pools and gets a proper swimming pool maintenance and a cleaning done.

If there’s one thing all pool owners share, it’s pool maintenance. Creating and sticking to a consistent plan-of-attack will help eliminate this stress and also save money on pool chemicals.
it is always better to stick to a simple schedule. you just have to ensure that these ff. things are done on a regular basis:
Vacuum at least once a week or whenever it’s dirty. If you have an automatic pool cleaner, the longer the better.
Skim and brush 2x per week. Catch the leaves falling in there daily, and remember to empty those baskets!)
Run your pump for 10-12 hours a day.
Chemically treat 2x per week. Do your simple 3-way chemical checks at least twice a week. You’ll be ready for any impromptu pool parties that come your way.
Shock at least once a week and after a time where a lot of people swim, like a pool party.
