Leaf Canister for Vacuum

Postby Barb1958 » Thu 05 Mar, 2020 15:01

I have a Hayward leaf canister for my pool vacuum which is attached to side scimmer. Keeps filling with air, after about 20 minutes there is too much air in the canister and I'm afraid it will just suck too much air. The vacuum works really well. We've replaced and checked all the hoses as well as the canister itself. My filter also needs to be primed if the pump doesn't run every day. Where could all this air be coming from?
