Berry residue cleaning

Postby Baakabak » Sat 24 Jul, 2021 14:13

Hello all,

There’s a pesky ficus tree that deposited some berries on the bottom and steps of my pool and left not so much a stain as an almost sticky residue. Purchased a Stain Eraser to try and remove, but it seems a bit aggressive and is taking away or lightening parts of the finish while removing the residue. Was wondering if there are any suggestions for removing this gunk before I go attaching a plastic putty knife to a pole.

Thanks!

Berry residue is organic so chlorine will break it down. Not sure what your pool is made of?
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
