Acid dosing does not appear to be working

Hi I have a pool with an automated chlorine and acid dosing system, Chemigem DM52. It does not seem to add any acid, Chlorine looks ok. You can see the dosing tubing for the Chlorine flowing, you can hear the solenoid clicking so that is ok. The you add acid, you can hear the solenoid but nothing is moving, the is an air bubble in the acid line but it has not moved. I ha proven that the common injection line is not blocked as the chlorine flows happily through it. May be dodgy non return valve or solenoid? Hope somebody can assist

I have no knowledge of the Chemigem DM52 but how do you know you need acid addition, could it be your pH is OK
Have you tried blowing back up the line to clear any possible blockage
What do the manufacturers say
