pool vacuum help

Please assist with which valves to turn in order to get the vacuum working as I cant seem to work it out

Do you have a main drain, skimmer and vacuum port?
Looking at the layout 1,2 and 3 are on the suction side
I suggest that you open 3 and close 1 and 2
If that doesn't work try a different combination
Take photographic evidence of the existing setup so that it can be returned to existing

is there any valves that need to be closed

what do 1 , 2 and 3 signify

I have also kept 1 open and 2 and 3 closed

I suspect that the valves 1,2,3, are for your skimmer, main drain and vacuum port
You will have to open one at a time and close the other two. Each time checking to see where the water is being pulled from

I solved it, by putting the tubes underwater and letting the air go through

Weren't you clearing the air out of your vacuum hose first
