Rust on Inground pool

Postby Iepoolowner » Tue 01 Aug, 2017 11:50

the area where the spa cascades into the pool has a rust stain ( appr. 4 inches in length) it appears whatever is happening is affecting the plaster and appears to be spreading. What is the remedy? Removing tiles and resealing the plaster under? It seems like water is getting under to the rebar. Please help!
TIA

If it has reached your rebar then you have a major job on your hand, digging out and replastering wont stop the rust unless you can kill all of it on the rebar. An alternative would be to fibreglass the pool but first get some professional help
