Leaves in bottom of pool

Postby fordl2801 » Thu 20 Oct, 2005 15:48

We just installed a new inground pool. There are a lot of leaves at the bottom of the pool which I know I can vacuum once the plaster cures (its only been filled one week). My concern is there are a lot of leaves around the drains in the deep end. I am unable to brush these away and worry that they are preventing drains from operating correctly. Can I close the main drain and sweep these away?

As long as the skimmer is open, you can safely close the main drain.
