Bottom skimmer/cleaner issue
I have owned a pool for a year now. I have always had issues with the skimmer and always had to manually clean the bottom of the pool. My skimmer which is attached to the intake line ends up winding up on itself and then getting stuck near the edge of the pool and does not clean the entire pool. Has anyone else had this issue or is anybody have any ideas what I can do to keep it from winding up on itself. It only turns in a counterclockwise way

Abandon it and clean it manually
A lot quicker and better, even when the cleaner is working correctly it still misses some areas
