Inspection window problem

Postby kieronma » Sun 30 Jun, 2019 15:28

When I back wash my sand filter it goes cloudy and then clear. I can see this in the little glass inspection window. When I turn it to filter after a while the inspection filter runs empty. I don't know what the pressure is as the gauge is old and rusty. Any thoughts on why this might be happening

Seems normal, when filtering it doesn't go into the glass
Get a new pressure gauge they aren't expensive
