Blowback disconnecting vacuum hose

Postby RonHK1 » Tue 26 Apr, 2022 09:50

I have a new problem, when the pump shuts off there is some kind of blowback in the vacuum line that pushes the vacuum cleaner hose out of the vacuum port.

This is a new problem, no changes in pool systems, vacuum system worked fine without this problem for 4 years. Can't figure out the cause.

It's a build up of air in the filter being compressed
You probably have a suction side air leak
