My Pool: Bestway 12ft steel pro max

Vacuum cleaner

Postby neilrlsmith » Tue 09 Aug, 2022 10:51

Hello. I have a 12ft above ground pool with a small pump. I also have the bestway vacuum cleaner which is useless as it relies on the suction of the pump. There are loads out there but it seems I either pay £20-£80 for other ones (that also seem to rely on the pump) or £300 upwards for a robotic one! Then I read some rely on your garden hose!! Can anyone recommend something that might work (I assume anything that uses my pumps suction is ruled out??) as I am fed up with all the grit on the bottom that we cannot remove :(

Thanks for any advice!

The battery powered poolblasters are good, they have a standard filter and a fine filter bag that can capture most stuff.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
