Wildfire Ash

Postby Lon » Tue 23 Oct, 2007 11:47

I'm in Southern California and in the middle of dozens of wildfires. Needless to say, my pool in inundated with ash. This is a brand new pool and I have limited experience with pool maintenace. I would appreciate any suggestions, especially what I SHOULD NOT do in this particular environment.

Thanks!

I'm no expert either, but I think you should start by vacuuming the bottom of the pool, and, if it is cloudy, use flocculant and then vaccum, plus running your filter at least 12 hours per day.

If anyone has more suggestions please post them!
