my pool vac won't draw water. It is barely pulling at all, even when I set the valve to full vac.
the skimmer is pulling just great.
I have a 10 yr old DE filter, it's just been opened and cleaned and is working fine.
any ideas why the vac won't draw?

Is the problem with the vacuum head, the vacuum hose or the vacuum port.

Maybe the thickness of vacuum hose is too thin.
