Can't secure top of cartridge filter

Postby 4502 » Thu 03 Apr, 2008 19:17

This is silly but I can't get the top of the cartridge filter tank to screw on properly. The locking knob catches but the top is lopsided. I can't get it to sit straight. Once the locking knob catches I adjust the top very slowly to keep it all even but it just doesn't stay that way. Is there something wrong with the threads of the lock parts?

you need to lubircate your filter tank O-ring & it should go back together easier.
