Inlet water circulation

Hello,

Is there an ideal configuration to point the inlet water streams for a better circulation and better skimming? I couldn't find anything online, but I'm not sure I was using the correct keywords.

They should all point in the same direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) and should be pointed slightly down.
