D.E. Filter Drain

Postby jacen007 » Fri 31 Jul, 2009 09:22

My DE Filter just had a Drain plug but it is right next to my house so I didn't want to backwash right against it. I purchased a t-valve to use instead but wanted to know the best kind of hose to put on it. I was given a pamplet at the pool store that said not to use the same hose as the vacuum or a rolled type hose. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jacen

Hi,

You should be able to use backwash hose (probably the rolled type you mention). It's normally blue and you can cut to suit your needs as far as length.

Go Buckeyes.
