Nature2 or pool frog?

Postby mike6075 » Sun 14 Mar, 2010 03:09

Which is better? I am looking for the easiest way to maintain my pool. I loved the Pool Wizard, but it is no longer available, so I need an alternative.
Nature 2 is much cheaper, but I am interested in the expert opinions here on the board. please help!

thanks in advance,

Mike

I use the Frog system and it is pretty good. It uses a mineral cartridge which ranges from $75 - $100 and lasts a season. It also uses a bac-Pac which ranges from $17-$24 per cartridge that lasts about two weeks..also has an algecide cartridge that is pricey but good

Nature2 or pool frog?

of the two, Nature2 is the better way to go as the replacement cartridges are easier to find nationwide. If you are to break down the cost over several swim seasons, you may want to consider installing a salt chlorine generator system. These systems are almost maintenance free, have a shock setting. Their are many other benefits, also, such as a better water quality, softer "feel" and many more. Just an option
