pH/TA

Problems relating to pH and total alkalinity.
Increase ph, increase TA. Reduce pH, reduce TA.
pH chemistry advice and techniques for the pool.

pH/TA

I am having trouble balancing pH and Total Alk. My TA is about 120-130 and pH is 6.8. Should I concentrate more on lowering TA or raising pH?

I would be inclined to lower the TA. If you aerate the water you will find the pH will rise.
