Stain

I have a fiberglass pool. This is our second summer and there is a stain in the pool. Around the edge and basically all over. It is a light brown color. I have tried everything. Please help...I would like it to look nice for July 4th. Thanks

A brown stain on fiberglass normally indicates a high alkalinity sometimes this stain is gray sometimes brown.

Your best bet is to lower your alkalinity to 0 mg/l and let the stain come out then raise the alkalinity back slowly to about 60 mg/l.

Rub a Vitamin C tablet on the stain. If it disappears, it is a metal staion (Iron most likely) and a dose of Ascorbic Acid will clean it all off.
