Alkalinity in saltwater pool

Postby xbombero » Tue 06 Nov, 2007 18:13

Should the alkalinity in a saltwater pool be in the same range of fresh water? I have 250 PPM and the pool co say's it's OK :?

you are correct your TA should be between 80-120

In salt pools running a lower TA 70-80 helps keep PH from rising to fast.
