chlorine tablets not desolving

chlorine tablets not desolving

my slow desolve chlorine tablets seem to be breaking down and sticking to sides of pool (vinyl) and floating on top of water.... help i am going on vacation saturday and can not leave this pool in poor maintenance...

What do you put your tablets in- floaters, skimmers, feeder?
