Low flow message saltwater generator

Hello,
I have a 24 x 52 Intex pool and a saltwater generator. I have been having to clean the filter daily because of the code for low flow on the saltwater pump. I clean and vacuum the pool atleast 3 times a week and it starts out flowing good and then by the end of the day, it is hardly flowing. What else can I do to get it to work correctly? Also, I have high ph levels. Do I just keep adding muratic acid until it comes down? Can that harm swimmers? I am new to all of this so pardon my ignorance. Thanks in advance.
