Hello everyone.
I have been using 0.5 pounds every two days of 70% granulated chlorine since I built my pool. Now I am facing a shortage of it, but I can still get 90% granulated chlorine in the local market.
The question is what do I need to do to use the 90%? Just start using it the same dosis and that is it?
Any answer will be appreciated.

Re: use 90% granulated chlorine instead of 70% granulated chlorine
90% is 20% stronger than 70% so use the same and test so that you can make adjustments or go by what the label says
The effectiveness of your chlorine is dependant of the Cyanuric acid (CYA) in your pool excessive amounts render your chlorine ineffective
For every 10 ppm Free Chlorine (FC) added by Trichlor, it also increases Cyanuric Acid (CYA) by 6 ppm.
For every 10 ppm FC added by Dichlor, it also increases CYA by 9 ppm.
For every 10 ppm FC added by Cal-Hypo, it also increases Calcium Hardness (CH) by at least 7 ppm
An indoor pool doesn't require much CYA 20-30. So I suspect that you have high levels of CYA (not good)
Better to use Liquid chlorine (Sodium hypochlorite or plain bleach if you can get it now)
