POOLIFE MPT VS IN THE SWIM SUPER MULTI-TABS

I HAVE BEEN USING THE MPT TABS FOR MY FEEDER BUT THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND ONLY COME IN AS LARGE AS 21# TUBS. IN THE SWIM MULTI-TABS COME IN 48# TUBS SO I WAS LOOKING AT SWITCHING AND THEY APPREAR TO BE CHEAPER ALSO. HASS ANYBODY COMPARED THE TWO AGAINST EACH OTHER? WHICH IS BETTER TO KEEP THE WATER IN THE BEST CONDITION?

Please dont type in capitals it sounds like you are shouting.
Forgetting the marketing departments silly names there are only really two types. Trichloroisocyanuric or dichloroisocyanuric.
Some may chuck in copper sulphate as an algaecide but thats about it. Best to turn the tub around and read the ingredients or ask for the MSDS which will describe whats in them. Trichlor has 1/3rd more chlorine and less CYA. Dichlor has more CYA and a 1/3rd less chlorine which is usually the price difference. Anyway come back when you have looked at the labels.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
