Has anyone ever seen one of these. It's hard to tell from the 1986 ad how it may have worked:

LOL. Just replied to another thread where I mentioned just this. That looks like a venturi you install after all the equipment. The problem with ANY feed system is control. They are all manual unless there is an ORP controller to tell the feed system when to add more chlorine and then add it.

Pucks or venturis, you have no way of knowing whats going on unless you test the water. If you test infrequently you will have a chlorine level that is too high at times and non-existent at other times. Not good.
