Wonder if someone can help me with this. My water is crystal clear. My Intex salt chlorinator works fine... comes on every night for 3 hours. I get no 91 messages. BUT, when I test my water, it always reads VERY low free chlorine (pps).. the square is almost white, and also very low Cyanuric Acid (ppm).
What is this and what should I do?
(Possible faults: has rained a lot in the last 2 months / used last years salt left outside covered in the freezing cold / have not shocked my system)... but as I said, my water 'looks' beautiful.

Riase the Cyanuric acid (CYA) level and the chlorine should stay in the pool. CYA should be 30 to 80 ppm. The CYA protects the chlorine from the UV rays of the sun.

CYA should be closer to 80ppm for a salt chlorinated pool
FC level should be around 5 - 6ppm
should probably run the salt chlorinator and filter longer each day, including when people are in it
