Calcium Service?

Postby ArizonaNative » Fri 05 Feb, 2010 01:50

I live in Arizona and my water chemicals are out of whack. My calcium is over 800 and my cyanuric acid is over 150.

I have seen advertisements for services that have patented processes to reduce hardness without having to drain and refill. Do these services really work?

Calcium Service?

Yes they do. Some of them use reverse osmosis which pretty much removes everything in the water. Earlier systems used various methods of precipitating the calcium and those systems probably wouldn't reduce the CYA. These systems are not inexpensive, but they do work. You can read some more about it in this thread.
