Blue Powder and Grout Staining

Postby EdG » Sun 09 Jan, 2022 18:22

Hello,
I recently had my pool resurfaced in a newly purchased home and followed all directions after. All seemed to go well. Then I had the deck repainted. When it was pressure washed for prep, many white paint chips got into the pool. It was pretty saturated with them from the surrounding border. I vacuumed them and cleaned the filter. Sometime after, there was a great deal of blue powder throughout the pool. It has been removed, but has stained the grout all around the pool and around the water feature. Any idea what this could be or how to remove the stains? Thanks.

Have you tried placing a chlorine tab directly on the stain?
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
