Dark green almost black water.

Stains on the pool surfaces, pool equipment
or on the swimmers, or off-color swimming pool
water. Discolored but clear pool water.

Dark green almost black water.

My pool water turned green almost black. The pool maintenance company said it was due to rain water. It did rain for severaly days. Is this possible?

In some parts of the world the rain can be so heavy it completely destroys the chlorine residual and brings in a whole heap of dirt from atmosphere. In short the answer is yes it is possible.
