White Residue
I have an indoor Endless Pool. Water chemistry is balanced. Water is crystal clear. I add 1 cup of Clorox (which I buy from the supermarket) to the water after each swim. As the water on the walls and floor of my pool room evaporates, it leaves behind white spots that are powdery. Could it be the Clorox? Is there something I should put in the water with or instead of the Clorox? Thanks!

Re: White Residue
Most likely salt, as the clorox (bleach) is used up salt remains, same as a salt chlorinted pool. Nothing to worry about.

Teapot1 - thanks for your reply. I should have added that I have a water softener in my home and use the softened water to top off the pool. In addition to the salt remaining after the chlorine is used up, maybe the salt in the softened water is also being left behind?
