Natural Cleaning, fish?

My wife's sister has a 15m indoor pool which is rarely used.
The water was green. I think the water is circulated, but not conditioned.
Is there some type of local fish they could dump in there and/or plants that would make it like a natural swimming pond?

You're kidding right? Would she really want an entire ecosystem in her house? It would be full of bacteria, micro-organisms, bugs, and who knows what else. I'd be afraid of getting sick because of it ~sounds scary to me. I believe that this would be more suited for outdoors. I know how hard it can be to maintain a 100 gallon aquarium that's meant for this purpose ~ I couldn't imagine anyone being able to keep up with a 10,000 gallon aquarium pool. There are professionals that eliminate or fill in pools if she doesn't want it anymore.
