I live in Texas where it never gets below freezing. Unfortunately that statement is no longer true. Monday night the temperature dropped to 9 degrees! I left the pool pump running, but the power went out for the entire state of Texas. When the power came back on the next day the pool pump turn on but there was no water flowing to the jets. Pressure gage on the filter was showing pressure from the pump so luckly the water near the pump didn't freeze. I removed the drain plugs from the pool heater and the water inside was frozen. I thawed it out with a propane heater and drained the pool heater. Is there anything I should look for before restarting the pool?
