This is our first pool and I'm trying to balance but my alkalinity is high and I don't know how best to lower it. Please advise on what I should be doing to balance the alkalinity and pH so I can continue opening the pool.

Intex 15' x 42" 1,000 gal/hour filter

Using Clorox Pool and Spa chemicals and test strips with the phone app.

Hardness: 250
Total Chlorine: 0
Free Chlorine: 0
pH: 7.8 (yesterday was 7.8 and used pH down. Today was 6.8, aerated pool to bring up pH and it worked faster than I thought and I overshot pH while TA stayed the same)
Alkalinity: 180
Stabilizer: 0
