There's gotta be a better way to winterize...

For above ground pools, is there a better way to cover the pool for the winter? Is there any product out there that actually fits around the pool like a cage with a slight incline towards the the center of the pool. Put the cover on top of that and strap it down. That way, all the water and leafs run or fall off the pool on their own. No need to deal with the hassle. Does anyone know if there is anything like this out there?

I was thinking of constructing something out of PCV or something like it, but I was curious if there was something already out there.
