During the opening process of swimming pool you should always use new chemicals. You should pull out the shelter on the swimming pool very wisely. Because on the top of the cover there are many debris and water are present. You should use the pump to evacuate this type of water. After evacuating the cover, you need to drain the swimming pool. After removing the cover on the swimming pool you should carefully check that every feature of your swimming pool. Firstly, you should check that all the fittings of swimming pool are in good condition or not. Then, check the filter or pumps are in working condition or not. Re: Step by Step Instructions for Ensuring Easy Pool Opening
Hello,
I am a new pool owner and pool has a gas heater. my question is - should be pool heater be switched "on" in order for the water circulation?
Currently, the weather is still cool in my city, not ready for swimming yet, but I want to open the pool to get the water clear out. So I only need to circulate the water not really heat up the water, in this case, do I still need to get the pool heater switched "on". If I keep the heater in "off" - no display on the LED, can the water be circulated?
Thank you!
Yan

Normally the heater doesn't need to run for water to circulate through it, there is probably a flow switch in the heater which needs water to flow through before the heater will fire
Some systems may have a bypass so that the heater can be isolated for maintenance
