Draining question

My wife and I have an Intex easy set pool. We are draining it at the moment, but it seems to going SO slow. At this rate, the 2800+ galons will take 2 weeks to empty out.

Has anyone had experience with the speed/rate of the water drainage for thier pool? Is a slow drainage rate normal? Maybe it's me, but I'm thinking the pressure of 2800 galons of water would really force it out...

If you cut a 12" hole in it, it should drain fairly quickly for you.
