Flow switch keeps breaking

Postby Helplesspoolman » Sun 28 Aug, 2016 08:36

Hello,
I am a new pool owner and I keep running into an issue. I have an Intellichlor IC40 as my SWCG. I have had to replace the flow switch 3 times this summer because it keeps "breaking", it actually looks like the copped was dissolved because there is a brown residue right under where the flow switch was supposed to be.
Any ideas what might cause this, tired of spending money for it to only work about 3-5 days.
Tyvm for any help

I could not edit post but that was supposed to read "looks like the COPPER was dissolved"
Sorry for confusion
