Pentair iCHLOR 30 flashing red and green

Postby Finz » Mon 09 Oct, 2017 16:26

We recently had a salt water pool put in, are using a Pentair iChlor 30 salt generator with a Pentair Superflo VS pump. When the pump is not running, the iCHLOR salt indicator light will flash alternating red and green. When the pump enters a run cycle, the light remains solid green. I cannot find anything in the user guide to tell me if the flashing is normal or a problem - all of the troubleshooting applies to when the pump is running. I would appreciate any insight to what the flashing (while pump is not running) is supposed to be telling me.

I would assume that the flashing light is an indication of no flow
I don't use a SWCG but you may get a more informed response from TFP
