Intec salt water system

Postby Mae Pryor » Mon 10 Jun, 2019 01:18

We keep getting a 91 error low salt on our salt water pump but when checking the salt in the pool it 5000ppm which indicates too much salt, we have checked and cleaned the cells and there is no calcium, we have had the system for about 5 years any ideas on the problem?

Always tricky but cells wear out not just get coated in calcium. Alternatively the power supply fails. Sorry can't give you better news.

Cells do wear out. Usually good for 10,000 hours. Rule of thumb is 5 years. If you run it 24/7 it’s down to 2 years.
