Hi
i have an old zodia ei electrolyser that I am repairing. the anode had completely corroded away so I have borrowed a plate from another slot in the cell; and carved a male crimp connector with a dremel.
it's producing chlorine perfectly.
however the crimp connector degrades very rapidly. Corroding to 'nothing' over the course of three weeks. They were normal crimp connectors supposedly ok for automobile use.
I can't tell what material the original connectors were as the anode connector was completely worn away over its four year life. the exterior connector appears to be in brass.
does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable crimp connector that would withstand the chlorine gas and other by products?
thanks
Justin

Perhaps. But I doubt it as I have never seen crimp connectors sold that are made of titanium.

You'll need to make your own connection, just giving ideas on material

Sure. And I have done a couple of times.
I'd just like to know what other people used. Whether marine grade crimp connectors or brass or whatever.
