Ventilation needed?

Hello - wishing to convert our chlorine pool to a saltwater pool. Looking at the available saltwater systems, they consist of a panel and a cell. My question is about the cell: does it need to be in a well-ventilated area? The most convenient spot for it will be inside the shed connecting to the final section of the return piping, but I'm worried that it gets pretty hot inside that shed in the summer. Thanks in advance!
