Aquarite - No Display - 4 Flashing Lights - Fuse Ok

Postby gadgetfl » Sat 11 Apr, 2009 19:44

I have an Aquarite about 6 years old.

I have NO display, the 4 leds (Low Salt, High Salt, No Flow, Inspect Cell) are flashing.

I tested the PCB with a VOm and have 240v at the board.

The fuse is not blown.
The pump is working.

Unfortunately, I do not have a "PCB" error because I have NO display, (and blinking lights NOT solid lights) so I am not sure if I should replace the:
a. Main PCB Board - ~$200
b. and / or Digital Display ~$160
c. Transformer (Can't even find a rpl part# for this) $ no clue
d. Whole panel ~$500

I am leaning towards the PCB but the no display has me concerned.

Any help or technical info would be appreciated.

I am fairly technical although I have no real experience with pool equipment.
Also, if you have a better source for parts, I am open to them as well

TY

First things first. Make sure the board is setup for 240v and not 120v
