Ozone question

Postby RonnieZ » Sat 23 May, 2009 13:26

I have a 17,000 gal gunite pool with a Sunshine copper, zinc, silver ionizer and a THUNDER
Corona Discharge Ozone Generator with a Thunderstorm injector system.
My questions are about the ozone generator...

1. Should I be seeing bubbles only in the mixing/injector chamber ( Picture at http://www.sunshinepool.com/ozone1.html )
or should there be bubbles actually coming out of the eye inlets on the sides of the pool?
Right now I have bubbles coming out of the inlets but doubt this is correct procedure.

2. I see there are test strips advertised on the 'net to test ozone levels. What would a good level be?
I know that as soon as you turn off the ozone gen., the ozone rapidly depletes so when should the test be done?

Thanks!
