Is it ok to add other chemicals such as ph/alk increasers/decreasers, etc. while there are superchlorination levels in the pool?

Yes, but the pH test will not measure correctly at shock levels of chlorine (> 10 ppm FC). So don't try and adjust that. Generally, you don't try and adjust your water chemistry during shocking -- you try and to that before shocking or after the chlorine levels have dropped again. Unless your water chemistry numbers are way out of whack, I'd wait until after you are done shocking.
