My pool chemistry.... (Final exam)

Postby hoodfigga » Sun 06 Apr, 2008 11:25

Ok here I go.

I want to set my SWG pool, 15,000gal in sunny south Florida to the following chemical levels.

FC 3. 0
CC 0 (combined chlorine)
PH 7.7
TA 70
CYA 70
CH 325
water temp today 81F

Only adjustment I need is below to reach the above numbers.

Right now my TA is only 60 and I want to raise it to 70 by adding two 16oz boxes of Arm and hammer Baking soda (total of 32oz)

So what do you say. Do I pass Pool Chem 101?

Thanks

15000GAL / Diamond Brite Classic / Aquarite SWG / 1.5hp Strarite / Hayward C17502 Cartridge Filter / AquaCal 155A Heat Pump /Sunny South Florida

Thanks to you chem geek and the pool wizard forum. You helped me out with a algae problem about a year ago on this forum.
